understand we are facing one of the hardest moments that we have ever experienced in Australia. For
me, I'm working at a Hotel called Adina in front of the Central Station as a receptionist. It is much
harder than I expected. But I hope this is the biggest chance to get better at English.
Today, I'm gonna talk about what I learned from this studying abroad.
Before I came here, I had decided one big goal, "Interacting many people as much as possible." In
the end, it was Japanese people who I did actively (haha) but I made many close friends here.
Basically, I'm shy. You know, I like new poeple to talk to me positively so it took a long time for me
to be active enough to make friends. Even now I sometimes envy my friends who have loads of
foreign friends.
Recently, I've got a new friend who used to be my classmate last session at the icte. Apparently, she
looks like innocent and optimistic. But she is a good listener, I think. I oftenconsulted with her about
my problems such as grades, friend relationship and also my girlfriend. Shewas serious (sometimes
too optimistic lol) I'm so glad to meet her through this studying abroad. she would be my close
friend. Hence what I want to say is that, even in other country, we could meet our buddy.
Technically, I should have made native speakers' friend to practice my English skill lol But I
don't need many. One or two is enough for me.
Now I'm so satisfied with my flatmate who is from Taiwan. It seems his spoken English is not so
perfect. But I'd like to respect his attitide toward practicing English. Even if he is not understood by
everyone due to his poor English, he never gives up. He is also optimistic.
What I learned through this long span is I can still learn a lot from my friends even in other nation.
Hang in there everyone until Internship is done.
What will be will be.
Get over with it quickly and go back to our country, JAPAN
